Can Weight Distribution System Install If Propane Tanks and Battery Interfere with Chain Hangers
Question:
Im having a problem with the weight distribution setup for my RV. The chains on my spring bars for my distribution are couple links short. I have chain hangers installed on my 2014 Jayco Jay flight swift 267 BHS i cant move them any closer to the tongue because of the tanks and battery. What can I do to extend the link for me to tow my trailer or do I need to purchase a whole distruibution kit?

For your situation the solution is a set of bolt-on chain hangers like the Reese hangers part # RP58305 that you referenced. But this kit is designed for use with Reese weight distribution systems. If you have a Reese kit this would work well for you, or if you have a Curt system you'd want the part # C17005. I attached a picture that shows how this style of hanger allows a WD system to install on a trailer frame with interference from a propane tank above it.
If you have a different brand of weight distribution system let me know and I can see what would be best solution for you. Also let me know what the tongue weight rating of your current system is as well.
