Parts Needed to Add 7-Way to Rear of Trailer for Towing Second Trailer
Question:
I want to wire my 2018 Grand Design 5th Wheel rear receiver hitch for a 7 way plug. I believe the new campers are all LED but my boat is not. How will accomplish this.

You'll have to wire in a 7-way to the current trailer wiring on your trailer. The best solution would be with the part # HM40975-11998. Basically you'd need to run each of the wires of the lead to the correct circuit on your trailer's wiring. I attached a picture that shows the color functions of each circuit on this kit. For quick splices you'll then want the part # SWC501915-1.
Your second trailer having LED taillights would not be an issue either.
