Recommended Solution for Hyperflashing Issue on 2019 Casita Trailer with LED Lights

Question:

2017 Mercedes 2500 Cargo Van with Factory Tow Package I do not have a warning lamp out indicator but I do have hyperflashing with the LED lights on my 2019 Casita trailer. Will this device still work even though I do not require the lamp out bypass circuit? If no, and I need to install a load resistor will this schematic work? see attached sketch Is the Putco Load Resistor water/weather proof or does it need to be in an enclosure?

If you have a 7-way the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass - 7-Way RV to 7-Way RV - Vehicle End # 20142 will work to stop your hyperflashing of your 2019 Casita trailer even though you don't have the lights out sensor on your dash. Based on your pin numbers on your diagram, it looks like you may have a 6-pin wiring connector, and if so then you will use the LED Light Bulb Load-Resistors # DI34ZR in a similar way to what you show but I recommend installing them on the trailer near the tail lights instead of on the vehicle side.
