Outside Leg Dimensions of etrailer.com Landing Gear for 1995 Skyline Layton Fifth Wheel
Question:
What I need to know is the outside dimension of the replacement landing gear tubing. I have welded brackets at 2.5 inches.

The Landing Gear Set w/ Handle - 20-1/2" Travel - 8,000 lbs # RVLG-8HDL has an outer tube width of 2-1/2 inches. As long as the weld stop locations shown in the attached photo work, you will have no issues making this a direct replacement and reusing your current brackets.
