Troubleshooting Wiring Harness Connections on 2018 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

The cable of 2 adapters is short and does not reach towards the headlights of the passenger side, the one with 2 connectors is short to be installed next to the driver, and that of an adapter is long enough to carry it to the passenger side, in the video shows that 2 adapters are connected to the passenger side, ok my question is: what happens if the cable is of 2 terminals is connected to the driver's side, is it possible to install the adapters inversely?

The adapter on a US vehicle will give you an adapter that will reach each side correctly. There should be a connection on each side of the vehicle as shown in the attached video. You will need to make sure the connections are made on the correct side as they cannot be reversed for proper connection and function.
