Is There a Ball Mount for a 1-1/4 Inch Hitch With 1 Inch of Rise

Question:

I have this part now Item # C45147 1-1/4inch Hitche - 2inch Ball - 3/4inch Rise I see they make a ball with a 1inch rise but only for 1inch tread how can I get something to give me a 1inch rise for the 1 1/4inch hitch?

The good news is that the additional 1/4" of rise you are trying to obtain is likely not going to be necessary when towing a trailer. The vehicle should sag a bit once you attach the trailer so more than likely, the ball mount you have now will work just fine for you. I would not worry about the additional 1/4" or so when towing a trailer as it will not have any negative effect.

The bad news is that we do not offer a high rise hitch ball that will fit the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 1-1/4" Hitches part # C45147 because as you mentioned, this ball mount has a 3/4" diameter shank hole and all of the high rise hitch balls we have use a 1" diameter shank. Unfortunately, we do not have any ball mounts for a 1-1/4" trailer hitch that offers exactly 1" of rise either.
