What are Options for Installing Derale Temperature Gauge Kit # D13009

Question:

I have a 1999 ford f250 super duty 6.8L v10 and was wanting to know where can I install the gauge sensor D13009 into the transmission I was told that might be able to put it to the test port on side of trans but i dont want to put it in the pan any other places to put the sensor or will test port work

If the test port on the transmission of your 1999 Ford F-250 uses thread dimensions that are 1/8 NPT then the sensor of the # D13009 would fit and work well. In the instructions I attached this is basically the Option 2 set instructions listed. Option one is for drilling the pan to install the sensor.
