Plug and Play Installation of Trailer Brake Controller in 2011 Dodge Durango
Question:
2011 dodge durango brake controller install Is the installation all plug and go if you have factory tow pkg?

If you have the factory tow package in your 2011 Dodge Durango the installation of a brake controller is very simple. The plug under the dash is already present so you just need the controller of your choice and the appropriate wiring harness.
A favorite is the Prodigy P3 # 90195 because of the LCD display with easy to understand diagnostics and no code deciphering. It makes it easy to use and helps with the troubleshooting if something isn't working correctly. The direct wiring harness for this is # TK93VR.
For a cleaner look on your dash, you may want to consider the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR. This controller has a really clean dash button mount that looks like it came installed from the factory. Then you can use the Custom Wiring Adapter # RED77FR. This will plug into the factory wiring under your dash and then plug into the controller. It is an easy installation.
