Will Thule Motion XT XL Fit OEM Roof Rack on 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport

Are my RR Sport factory cross bars adequate for the Thule Motion XT XL? Is there any advantage to switching to the Thule rails and cross bars?

The Thule Motion XT in Black Glossy # TH629806 or Titan Glossy # TH629807 should fit and work just fine on the OEM roof rack you have on your 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. These were tested to fit the Thule aero-style crossbars so as long as your crossbars aren't larger than 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall you are good to go.
Typically the biggest advantage an aftermarket roof rack has over the OEM is weight capacity. OEM roof racks usually have a lower weight rating so upgrading to aftermarket bars can increase that (granted the roof weight rating of your vehicle itself isn't exceeded).
If you want to change to aftermarket bars then let me know if you have a naked roof or if you have factory tracks that run front to back on your roof so I can make a recommendation for you. Our aftermarket racks range from 130 lbs - 165 lbs with weight ratings so that is something to consider especially since the Motion XT XL weighs in at 46 lbs.
