Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Bike Rack for 2007 Range Rover Sport

Question:

Removable tow hitch range rover sport 2007 I think! Hi guys. I didnt realise it would be so difficult to sort a bike rack for my car! I need to travel in the ferry therefore a roof rack is not ideal with a bike in top. Someone recommended I looked for a tow hitch is it? Can anyone suggest something Thanks in advance

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13456 is a fit for your 2007 Range Rover Sport. This is the only option for vehicle and there is a restriction when adding it. If you have a full sized spare tire this hitch will no longer allow that full size spare to be stored underneath. The center of the hitch pin hole will be 3-1/2 inches behind the outermost part of the bumper making it compatible with most hitch mounted bike racks.

I recommend the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Rack # TH92BJ which will fit your hitch and come with both the hitch lock and integrated bike locks. This carrier will fold up when not in use with the closest part 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole which will give you clearance from your bumper but still keep the rack tight to the rear of your vehicle. This is a really nice feature to have for tight spaces when you don't have your bikes loaded.
