Does Ground Wire of 37185 Need to be Attached to Anything for Adapter to Function
Question:
I have a 2018 Honda Odysey with a 4 pole wiring harness that is inside the vehicle. I have an adaptor 37185 to use on a 7 port trailer. Do I need to attach the ground wire on the adaptor to the vehicle or will the ground on the 4 port harness be all I need? If I do need to mount it do you have a suggestion where would be best/easiest?

The 7-way adapter # 37185 does require you to attach the ground strap of the 7-way adapter to function properly. Typically people will run it to the frame of the truck near the adapter as that's the easiest location to go with.
At the 3:00 mark of the install video I attached you can see our installer attaching it to vehicle frame.
