Compatibility of B&W Steel Workbed and Reese Goose Box
Question:
B&W steel workbed and Reese goosebox compatability I am installing the flatbed mentioned in the subject line, on my 2006 F350 dually and was set on replacing my kingpin with the Goosebox on my 5th wheel trailer. Only now Im worried that I may have made a mistake thinking i can use this hitch system. Can you verify that I can use the goosebox with the recessed goose ball in this flatbed?

It sounds like you have the Steel Workbed with the B&W turnoverball integrated. Normally the recessed gooseneck hitch ball will cause compatibility issues with an adapter like the Reese Goosebox. If the gooseneck ball isn't recessed or isn't recessed more than 2 inches to the base of the ball itself, then the 1" High-Rise Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 2-5/16" # BWGNXA2050 would offer compatibility.
If you have a deeper recess than that then you won't be able to use the Goose Box # RP85FR and your next best option is to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter - 12" to 16" Tall - 20,000 lbs # CAB-C5G. This has a dual polyurethane bushing to help the ride of your trailer.
