We can help you select new tires for your tandem axle 5th wheel.
Your photo shows the current tire is size 235/80-16. The larger tire size 235/85-16 is still compatible with your rims and this will be about 3/4-inch larger in overall diameter. Moving to this size will give you the ability to use a tire with more weight capacity to increase your safety margin.
The available 235/85-16 are shown on the linked page. These include tires with various ply ratings. The highest ply rating we offer is a 14, and the tire I recommend is the Load Range G Taskmaster Provider # TTWPRG235R16 which can handle 4400-lbs. This tire is ideal for highway use since it has a speed rating M, meaning good to 81-mph. It also has a 2-year warranty.
Ply ratings are still provided because that type of rating system is familiar to people, but selecting a tire is best done based on its specific weight capacity relative to the trailer's GVWR. Four of the Taskmaster will give you a substantial 17,600-lb load capacity across the four tires.
Always start your travel day with the tires inflated to their maximum 110-psi COLD pressure.
