How To Prevent Sag While Towing/Hauling with a Lifted 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche
Question:
I am looking at product air lift AL60769 and need to know if it will work with my truck. I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche 4wd with a 6inch rough country suspension lift. The rear end doesnt have spacer blocks. But it has longer than factory springs. Will these airlift bags be usable with my system?

I do have an option for you but there would be no way to confirm fitment of the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs part # AL60769 on your 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche with aftermarket coil springs. The Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs are designed to work with factory rear coil springs only therefore I recommend taking a look at the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRG25C which like the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs will also work to help reduce sag while hauling a heavy load or towing a trailer. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System unlike the Air Lift AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs is also maintenance free. The installation process is just as easy which you can see from the attached video on a similar Yukon.
Please note that if the distance between the old bump stop and contact point has changed then you will need to use a combination of part # TA25722-90P00 and part # A25723-90AH00 until there is 1/2"-1-1/2" between the bottom of the Timbren and top of the contact point. The above kit is 6-1/2" tall. Therefore, if you measure from the bump stop cup to the top of the contact point and subtract 6-1/2" that should tell me how many spacers you need per side.
