The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1104 is a confirmed fit for your 2004 Ford F-150. With the 5-1/2 foot bed, I do recommend using the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085 to give you additional turning clearance for most trailers. If your trailer has a rounded front or an offset coupler like # BWTEXA4200 then that wouldn't be necessary, but in most cases with that short bed it is wise.
