Question:
I just got a 2019 ram 1500 and I was trying to get a trailer hitch. now the truck already came with a cutout for the hitch ball on the bumper, but I dont like it and wanted to put the one for under the bumper. now my question is if I purchase the 41913 hitch, before I install it do I have to remove the factory one.

Yes, in order to install the heavy-duty Draw-Tite Ultra Frame hitch # 41913 on your 2019 Ram 1500
you will need to remove the factory hitch.
The spare tire will need to be removed temporarily for hitch installation but it will still store under under the truck in its original location. The heat shield will also need slight modification and you will temporarily remove the rear fascia. But you do NOT need to drill the frame since the hitch uses existing mounting points.
I linked the written instructions that detail the specific tools needed and the step-by-step process, as well as a helpful article on hitch installation.
