Activating 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way on 2017 Chevy Silverado

Question:

The 12v constant is not hot on my 7pin trailer. I tested it with a multimeter. The trailer seems to be in good working orderI hooked it up to a buddies truck. I have no 30a fuse in the #2 spot marked Trailer lights of my underhood fuse box. Which is strange because my 12v constant has worked before. I went and bought a fuse but there are no male terminal ends in the #2spot, the fuse has a female connection. Should I be looking for a male connection 30a fuse? Is there a way to add male terminal ends to fuse spot #2? Am I way off track and should be looking for a different fix?

To activate your 12 volt circuit on your 7-way the easy way you'd just need a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 ran through a circuit breaker like part # 9510 from the positive terminal of the battery to the 1:00 pin of the 7-way and the circuit would be active and ready to go.

Otherwise you'd have to try and track down where the factory wiring went wrong which can be tedious.
