Does Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock for 2017 Honda Ridgeline Work for Lower and Swinging of Tailgate
Question:
The Ridgeline 2017 door opens both downward and sideways by pushing on a hidden handle on the right hand side of the door. Will this lock work keeping the door locked, and when unlocked can I still open the door sideways? Thanks.

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 will prevent both the fold down operation as well as the swinging operation on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline when locked. You can see in the attached video that this works for both functions as it locks your ability to engage the handle. You can see this at the 7 minute mark of the video.
