Question:
I have a 2007 carry-on 5 x 8 enclosed trailer. It currently has 5 by 4 1/2 lug pattern. I know the axle tube is 2-3/8” in diameter. I was wondering if this hub assembly would fit on my trailer if you need anymore information let me know. thanks

Yes, the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-655-35-K should fit the 2-3/8" diameter axle that you currently have installed on your 2007 5x8 enclosed trailer. If you can verify that the axle on your trailer is a 3,500 lb axle then that would confirm the fit indefinitely as this hub uses the same bearings and seal as the common #84 spindle on a 3,500 lb axle.
Just note that this hub assembly does have the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern so your current wheels will not be compatible with it. If you don't already have tires/wheels for this setup then I recommend going with the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Tire # AM10303, it has a weight capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi and a speed rating of 81 mph for your tires. Then for your wheel, a Dexstar 15" White Spoke Wheel part # AM20532.
This specific tire is a load range E (2,830 lbs at 80 psi) which is more then enough for your 3,500 lb axle.
