How Much Bumper Clearance Is Needed On a 2004 Lincoln Town Car with the Draw-Tite Hitch 41116-011

In order to find the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41116-011 to the outermost edge of the bumper on your 2004 Lincoln Town Car you will need to measure from the pre-drilled hole in the frame (see photo) out to the end of your bumper. Once you have this measurement you will then need to subtract 22" as that will then give you your hitch pin hole to bumper clearance measurement.

Unfortunately, we have not yet had a chance to install the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2004 Lincoln Town Car which is why I am not able to provide you with an exact distance. The manufacturer does not provide these measurements either. With that being sad, based on the few install photos we do have which I have attached it does not appear that the hitch pin hole is too far recessed under the bumper so you should be just fine with most hitch mounted accessories.
