Replacement Hardware Kit for Reese Tow Power Class III Hitch 51064 for Ford F-150

Question:

I own a 2005 Ford F150 and bought a Reese 51064 hitch from someone who sold his F150 and never installed the hitch. So its brand new and came with everything that I needed to install it on my truck. I put the hitch in my garage and the hardware in a drawer. Before installing it, I moved and misplaced the hardware and have given up on looking for it. I suspect my wife may have even thrown it away not knowing what it was... just looked like a bag of bolts to her. Anyway, I am ready to install the hitch, but need to replace the missing hardware. Which is the best replacement hardware kit that I can buy that will do the job of replacing the hardware for this hitch? I was looking at the RP58430 kit. It comes with extra bolts I need 6 and the kit comes with 10, but I can live with the extra hardware. Will this work? I saw other Reese hardware kits on your site one universal kit and other hardware kits for other hitches that were much more expensive, but they all seemed to have very similar bolts and nuts based on the sizing that I saw. The biggest issue that I have with the RP58430 kit is that the carriage bolt blocks are 2 inches vs. 3 inches that come in the hardware kit for the 51064. I learned this by looking at the installation instructions. I figure that if the bolt/block start turning as I tighten the nut, the block will swivel, hit the frame, and will stop turning. Im hoping that the extra inch will not impact the installation and itll still stop if the bolt/block start to turn. Let me know whats the best solution. This is something I dont necessarily want to guess on. Sorry for the long message and Thanx for the help.

Reese Tow Power hitch 51064 is a Class III 2-inch trailer hitch receiver and we do offer replacement hardware for it, part # RHK. Simply type "RHK" in our search box and press enter. Then on the page for # RHK type 51064 in the field labeled "Hitch Item Number" and select "Reese " from the drop-down menu tool. We'll send you a complete kit of custom hardware to fit your F-150.

The hardware kit you referenced, part # RP58430, is for a 5th wheel in-bed hitch base rail kit that uses many more bolts, as you noted.
