Which Transmission Line of 2004 Chevy Blazer to Install Transmission Cooler On
Question:
2004 chevy blazer which is the transmission return line? Top or bottom

Expert Reply:
On your 2004 Chevy Blazer the upper connection is from the trans, (hot). The lower connection goes back to the trans, (cooled). The lower line is the return line and the one you want to install a cooler on.
For a transmission cooler the Derale part # D13503 would be a fantastic option. It measure 11" Wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep and is a plate fin style cooler which is very efficient. The correct adapter fitting you'll want to use is the part # D13018. This threads into the radiator and transmission line which allows you to install the cooler without needing to cut any metal lines.
