Link Repair Kit Recommendation for Side Chains of Titan Heavy Duty Chains

It says cross link repair. Will this work for the side chain. Just put both ends in and crimp together

The part # TC281CCRL is for repairing cross chains. To repair a side chain link you'd instead need the part # TCQL192 for a set of heavy duty chains like the # TC3831CAM.
