Could Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier # HRT970 be Used on Bike without Quick Release Skewer
Question:
We have two bikes, one with the quick release axle and one without. Asside from having to use a wrench to remove the axle nuts on the one without the quick release system when I take off the front wheel, what prevents the use of this particular front fork rack? Seems like it should fit the bracket and then be tightened in place just like the other bike.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The axle of the wheel doesn't really factor in when using the Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier # HRT970. As long as the forks of the bike are slotted so that they can fit on to the axle of this carrier the skewer of the carrier will work just fine.
