Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2019 Ford F-150
Question:
Will I need a sliding 5th wheel hitch on a 2019 ford f150 supercrew 6.5foot bed. 157inch wheel base?

Yes, since your truck bed is shorter than 8 feet you do need a slider hitch to give you the turning clearance needed to make a sharp turn without having the truck cab hit the nose of the trailer. Since that can be a hassle the solution I recommend is the Demco Hijacker AutoSlide part # DM8550034 as it slides automatically as you make tight turns so you never have to think about it. Then for a rail kit to install the hitch in the bed of your truck I recommend the Demco Custom kit part # DM8552028-71. Custom kits install much easier than universal kits and they minimize drilling too.
