Will the Thule Apex Bike Rack Work With The Yakima BackSwing

Can you tell me if the Yakima Backswing will work with the Thule Apex Bike Hitch Rack?

We have not physically tested the Thule Apex Bike Rack with the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender part # Y02483 so I cannot confirm an exact fit but I do not see any apparent issue in doing so. However, the Yakima BackSwing will reduce your trailer hitch's weight capacity by 50% so you will need to keep this in mind while loading your bikes.
If the weight of your bikes and bike rack exceeds 50% of the trailer hitch's tongue weight capacity then you may be interested in the RockyMounts BackStage 2 Bike Platform Rack part # RKY10002 which will not limit your trailer hitch's weight capacity as the swinging mechanism is built into the rack.
