Should Red Bulb with Clear Lens or White Bulb with Red Lens be Used for Trailer Tail Lights

Is there any advantage to a tail light with a clear lens and red LEDs compared to a tail light with a red lens and white LEDs?

Yes, there is an advantage to using a red bulb with a clear lens, like part # STL88RCB, over a clear bulb with a red lens. A clear bulb with a red lens actually causes the tail lights to have a pink tint to them so we don't recommend going that route. The best combinations to use are either a red bulb with a clear lens or a red bulb with a red lens.
