Trailer Wiring Harness for 2008 Ford Escape
Question:
Greetings, Hitch Connector from vehicle to trailer wiring harness. I own a 2008 Ford Escape and am looking for the connector from the vehicle that connects to Item # 118251. Is this an item that you carry? Thanks

It sounds like you are looking for a replacement for the tow package connector for your 2008 Ford Escape (like in the accompanying photo). This would only be on '08 Escapes that have the factory tow package and if yours was damaged that is not a part we have available as a replacement so you can install the Tow Package Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 118251, which often requires three Relays 38665, as per the install video I linked. This connector should also not be used if your Escape has a back-up sensor. If you do need that connector for your Escape you may need to contact your Ford dealer for a replacement.
Should your Escape not have the factory tow package you would not be able to use that harness, you would need a different one, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118551. This does not require relays and installs by plugging into connection points behind your tail lights and running a hot lead to your battery.
I have added a link to the instructions for this harness for you to check out so you can see how it is installed.
