Does Hot Lead for Wiring Harness on 2007 Lincoln MKX Have to be Run to Battery
Question:
Can I attach the module wiring to the automatic trunk lead for the lead to the backseats I am not able to get under my car to run the wire to the battery or is it possible to run the wire inside the car

We get asked this question pretty regularly and the answer is you must run the hot lead to the battery when installing a 4-way, in your case the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118551 for a 2007 Lincoln MKX.
The reason is this is the only way to ensure your car's wiring is not otherwise affected. You can run the hot lead from your battery in any manner you see fit, you are only limited by how much you are willing to create holes to run the wiring.
I have added a link to this harness being installed on an '08 Lincoln MKX for you to check out so you can see what the normal installation process is.
