Size of Bolt for the Replacement Door Latch for Valterra Deadbolt with 2-3/4" Backset

Question:

I have a 1991 Tiffin Allegro Bay. I need a replacement dead bolt. Its currently set up with a 2 3/4 backset and 5/8 inch bolt. Will this item be a suitable replacement? A 1 inch bolt will not work.

I went out to the warehouse to measure the Replacement Door Latch # L32080-4 and found that the bolt itself measured right at 11/16" while the surrounding mould measured 1". Since 11/16" is really close to 5/8" you may want to double check on your end just to see if it will work.
