Strongest Ladder Rack for 2018 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab with Deck Rail System
Question:
I found out my old ladder rack will not fit on my new truck. 2018 Taco Doub cab shorty with deck rail setup. Can you please give me a list of all possible fits so I can take my time and figure it out. If there are one or two you strongly suggest I'm up for some good advice. I'm a contractor so no junk please.

For your heavy-duty application I recommend the Thule T-Rac Pro2 Ladder Rack # TH37005XT which is rated for 1000-lbs. This fixed-height rack is aluminum so there is no worry about rust or corrosion. The slotted crossbars let you easily mount and adjust accessories such as the included heavy-duty load stops. If you prefer a rack with a 3rd over-the-cab crossbar we have that option too with Pro2 rack # TH37005XT-EX. These Thule racks are the highest capacity ladder racks for your truck.
If you absolutely need a rack that allows height adjustment and you can live with a 450-lb weight rating then the Xsporter rack # TH500XT-XK4 becomes an option to consider.
The Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 rack # 59799 that you referenced in your question will give you an 800-lb capacity fixed rack at a much lower price point, although it is not made in the USA as the Thule racks are and it has a 5-year warranty instead of the Thule limited lifetime warranty.
For a new truck that a professional user like you is likely to own for quite a while and really depend on for your livelihood I have to strongly recommend the Thule racks with your long-term satisfaction in mind.
