What Does the S.C. Error On the Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller Mean

I have an 2013 ph 40 ft gooseneck. replaced both side brakes now I have a s c on my control box . not getting power at all to brack

The S.C. error message on the Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller part # HM47294 represents that there is a short circuit on either the blue brake output wire or the red stop light switch wire. If you just replaced both braking assemblies then odds are the issue is with the blue brake output wire. The first thing you will want to do is check the ground for each braking assembly. Once this is done you will need to trace the wire from each brake magnet up to the splice point and where it runs to the trailer connector. If there are any breaks or frays then you can use part # 10-1-1 (per foot) to replace it.
