Compatible 2,200 lb E-Z Lube Axle, Hub and Drum and Electric Brakes
Question:
Compatibility of T20BTR-EZ-6048 axle with electric brakes AKEBRK-2 and hubs AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K. Ive been looking into using the mentioned combination of parts to build my own axle with brakes assembly. Would like to know if they are compatible, of course with mounting plate 4-34 as well, or if any of them should be replaced with another part.

The 2,200 lb capacity Dexter Trailer Idler Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles # T20BTR-EZ-6048 is not compatible with the hub and brakes you referenced, so it will require a couple of different parts, though you can use Brake Mounting Flange # 4-34.
The axle has BTR spindles so you would need Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 2,200-lb E-Z Lube Axles # 8-173-16UC3-EZ which are compatible with 7" x 1-1/4" brake assemblies. For that you will need the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # K23-103-104-00.
I have added links to video reviews of the axle, hub and brake assemblies for you to check out as well.
