Finding Stoplight Circuit Switch for Wiring Brake Controller to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL

Question:

I have a 2018 Wrangler JL w/o the factory tow option. I have added the factory 7-Way wiring and all is well with that. I am attempting to add a brake controller. I purchased 10 gauge wire, 12 gauge wire, Tekonsha Prodigy P3, terminal connectors, and the 20amp auto resetting circuit breaker from etrailer. I have the blue, black, and white wires ready to connect. I am not sure where to connect the red wire on the brake pedal. On the wrangler forum some users have mentioned they are unable to signal the brakes on the trailer from any of the 3 wires coming off the brake pedal. I have attached a picture of the brake pedal electronic wiring diagram. Some forum users have connected to wire feed #3 but stated that did not work for them. Can you help?

When we installed a brake controller in a similar 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK we found that the correct stoplight circuit wire was white, but since i don't see that color on the diagram you mentioned your best option is going to be to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that are at the switch till you find one that only has voltage when the brakes are applied. That is the circuit to use for the red wire of your controller.
