Helpful Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2019 Ford Fusion hybrid is the Draw Tite part # 24897 since you'll be carrying a wheelchair. The reason is that because unlike the Curt hitch that fits your vehicle this hitch does not require a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load. This hitch as a 200 lb tongue weight capacity so you'd need a carrier like the Reese part # 63155 which will fit this hitch, has more than enough capacity needed, and is lightweight enough that you'd still be under the capacity of the hitch as it weighs 44 lbs.
