Is Fishwire Required When Installing Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521181-1

Hello, Purchased the kit# 521181-1. Reading through the Installation steps. On step #17, do you need a fishwire or can you place the bolt and plate without one?? Thank you.

When installing the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521181-1 you will indeed need to fishwire the carriage bolts and backing plates during step 17 in order to tighten them to the existing holes in the frame rail. This allows you to feed the bolts and plates through the frame. For the bolts you will want to use a 1/2 inch bolt leader like # 80101-1.
