Since you have such a heavy pickup I recommend using the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9518134 with the Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511013 which is rated for up to 10,500 lbs. I spoke with my contact at Demco who said that the Classic base plate kit should fit just fine as long as the commercial and snow build doesn't affect the tow hooks on your 2018 Ram 3500.

Then for wiring I recommend the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 because it stays permanently installed on your pickup and is very easy to set up since you only have to connect the umbilical.

For a braking system I recommend using one of the SMI kits that stays permanently installed on your vehicle. They are out of the way when you are driving your Ram 3500 around but they are also very easy to set up. Since you mention having a bus this means you would have air brakes and want to use the Air Force ONE # SM99243.

A lot of flat towing setups might require the use of a high-low adapter to keep the tow bar level while towing a vehicle. I have linked a helpful article for you to reference to see if this applies to you. If it does then I have also linked our selection of adapters for you to filter through.

I am not sure what kind of trailer hitch packages you can get installed on your bus but I recommend just trying to get one that sits at a normal height.

Please be sure to reference your owner's manual as well when looking into flat towing your Ram 3500.
