Is Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch the Best Option for 2019 Ford F-250 with Factory Pucks
Question:
I have a 2019 F-250 with a short bed and the OEM pucks. I am looking to make my life a bit easier when towing a fifth wheel and have heard good stuff about auto slide hitches. Is this the best option to make things easier when I'm towing?

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Hitch is definitely going to make your life much easier when you are towing your fifth wheel trailer with your short bed 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty. All those times before you had to get out of your truck just to make a sharp turn? Those days are long behind you with the Hijacker.
The Hijacker is easy to install and will fit directly in the puck system of your '19 F-250 and is available in two different towing capacities: 18,000 lbs # DM8550024 and 21,000 lbs # DM8550038.
The auto-slide feature on the Hijacker will make your experience so different that you will wonder how you ever used a fifth wheel hitch with a manual slider.
Along with the Hijacker being easy to use, it is also very secure. It has a single-piece which wraps completely around your king pin, giving you an optimal connection. That jaw-to-king pin connection is reinforced via a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed. The Hijacker also utilizes cushioned dampeners which minimize the noise often associated with fifth wheel towing.
Both Hijackers, the 18,000 lb model # DM8550024 and 21,000 lb model # DM8550038 give you 14 inches of front-to-back travel, have three different height settings (15-1/2", 16-3/4", and 18-1/4") and are made in the USA.
I have added a couple photos showing the Hijacker installed on a Ford puck system, as well as links to a couple video reviews for you to take a look at.
