Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe without Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a 2017 Hyundai Santa fe SE. Does not have a hitch installed but is their a chance that it is pre wired? On the rear driver side do I need to remove the panel to see if its pre wired or should I be able to see without removing anything.

It's almost guaranteed that if you don't have the trailer hitch installed on your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe that you don't have the factory towing package. That would mean for trailer wiring you'd need the part # 118571.
If you had the towing package the kit, you'd need instead is the part # C56332. You'd have to remove the panel you see pointed out in the attached picture under the car to determine if the correct wiring is present. You wouldn't be able to see that without removing the panel.
