Installation of Ground Wire on Tekonsha Plug in Wiring Adapter for 2006 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
I see that the harness I bought for my Toyota still has a separate white / ground wire, where am I supposed to attach this to as it is too short to reach the battery cables? 2006 Toyota 4Runner

The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Toyota and Lexus # 3040-P does have the separate white ground wire with ring terminal. It is to be connected to a bolt that connects to a bare metal surface. You may want to simply use a sheet metal screw like # 101131802. I've attached a couple videos to assist.
