Solution for Angled End of Hitch Pin Wallowing Out Hitch Pin Hole

Question:

Is there a straight pin that is compatible with the Bolt locks? I have these locks for my Jeep and they work great but angled pins have a tendency of wallowing out the receiver hole on the angle side. Thanks.

I may have a solution for you, however we do not have a straight hitch pin available that is compatible with the BOLT Receiver Locks like the part # BL7018448 you were looking at. If the angled end of the pin is wallowing out the hitch pin hole then most likely the accessory is moving around quite a bit inside the receiver during travel.

To keep this from happening I recommend adding an anti-rattle device like the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061. This will slide over the shank of your ball mount or other accessory and hook around the collar of the hitch receiver to pull the shank tight and eliminate that movement. Just note that your hitch receiver does need to have a ring or collar around it for this to attach.

I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
