Recommended Lock for 5th Wheel Hitch Base Rail Pin

Question:

Hello, Are there locking pins for the 5th wheel hitch in the rails? Can those be keyed to have the same key as our Receiver hitch 5/8inch on the back of the truck so we have a single key?

The Tow Ready Base Rail Lock for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 1/2" Diameter Pin # TR63254 or the Curt Base Rail Lock for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 1/2" Diameter Pin # C23256 will work to lock your hitch to standard base rails. There is not a keyed alike option for the hitch pin and this base rail pin from any of our manufacturers.

Will this rail lock fit on a slider base? The black one above does not, because it’s too tall.

Yes, the Tow Ready Base Rail Lock # TR63254 will work with slider bases.

Unfortunately the Curt Base Rail Lock can't be ordered keyed alike - most likely all 4 units you order would use a different key number. This would be the case with any of our base rail locks.
