Is Installing Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System Difficult

If you have access to basic tools and have a decent mechanical skill set you should have no problem installing the Lippert Ground Control # LC675817 in an afternoon depending on how fast you work. I'd probably set aside an entire day and just take your time with it and be as safe as possible.

The 2 landing gear jacks mount to existing points on your RV and secure with included hardware. The 2 rear and 2 middle jacks come with mounting brackets that bolt onto 8", 10", or 12" I-beam frames with included hardware. Mounting the rear jacks does require drilling. A sensor is also included for the rear jacks. This will be mounted on a crossmember near the rear jacks.

The control module for the system mounts in a compartment under the coach with included hardware. This module has a wiring harness that connects directly to your 12-volt battery. Wiring harnesses are also included that connect the jack motors, rear sensor, and the touchpad to the control module.
