Goose Box Installation Along with Safety Chains and Gooseneck Hitch for 2018 Ram OEM Pucks

Question:

Does the Reese Goosebox item 94622 come already put together? I want to change my Lippert 1621 to a 94622 Goosebox. I will need the 49150 chain set and the correct B and W gooseball and chain attachments for my 2018 Ram 3500 with factory installed puck system. Will I need anything else for this set up? Regards

The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter 94622 for the Lippert 1621 has been replaced with # RP85FR and yes it comes already assembled. You simply will remove the 4 bolts on each side of your current pin box and install the 8 bolts in the Goose Box.

Then you can use the Tow Ready Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks - 44" Long - 16,000 lbs - Qty 2 # 49150 to connect your trailer to the OEM Gooseneck and pucks in your 2018 Ram 3500. If you don't already have the chain loops and hitch ball I recommend the B&W # BWGNXA2062.
