Need for a project. Is it weldable?

The Roadmaster Replacement Base Pins with Chains and Clips (Qty 2) # RM-910029 have a zinc plating, so they can be welded but specific precautions should be taken. The boiling point of zinc is below the melting point of steel and Zinc fumes are toxic so you will want to use a respirator when welding.
