Wiring New 4-Way to Old Connector that Used Two Wires Per Circuit
Question:
I have a power chair lift trailer made by Bruno, in which my 4 way wiring harness came unplugged and dragged making the plug non functional... This harness is a simple 4 way plug, but the wiring coming into it has dual wires...2 green , 2 yellow, 2 brown, and 1 white... can I find a 4 way plug to splice into this wiring? or can I buy a 4 way plug with one wire for each color and connect it with a butt connector into the other 2 wires of the same color?

The second option you mentioned is the one you'd want to go with. You'd want to just butt connect the two wires from your lift to each the individual wires of a standard 4-way like the # W787264.
