Will the Thule OutWay 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2008 Honda Accord and Not Scratch the Paint

Im wanting to purchase this for my husbands 2008 4 door Honda Accord. Will we be able to use it for his bike as well as for mine which is a ladies step through Trek? Im assuming that this will not damage the paint on his car?

The Thule OutWay 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack, # TH45JV, will fit the 2008 Honda Accord sedan. And, you will be able to use it with the step-through Trek bike by using the Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. The adapter provides an artificial top cross tube so that the bike can be placed level on the rack.

To protect the finish on the vehicle you will need to make sure that there is no dirt or debris on the bike rack or vehicle where it will make contact on the vehicle. If the areas are clean then it will not scratch the paint.
