The Pewag Chains # PWE2228SC and # PWH2228SC have many similarities, but the main differences between the two is that the # PWH2228SC is made of corrosion resistant nickel manganese alloy steel that resists corrosion very well and uses thick square links that provide excellent grip and longer wear.

The # PWE2228SC is also a quality tire chain, but it would most likely not last as long as the other set of chains and they may not provide quite as good of traction due to the twist link design of the chains.

Either set should work well for you, but you will need to decide how important to you the durability of the chains is and how long you plan on keeping your 2006 Ford Expedition. If you plan on keeping your vehicle for a long period of time I would go with the # PWE2228SC.

I attached an FAQ article on snow chains that you should find informative also.
