Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2005 Ford F-150

I have a 2005 ford f150 I would like a hitch that can be easily bolted on that requires no drilling or welding

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75156 is an easy bolt on hitch option confirmed to fit your 2005 Ford F-150. The installation requires no drilling and will take someone with basic mechanical ability about 30-40 minutes to install.
If you will be adding trailer wiring, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56031 will connect to the factory wiring harness ports. You can then use the mounting bracket # 18144 along with # 18136.
If you will be towing, you may also want to consider a basic ball mount like the etrailer.com 2-3/4" Rise or 4" Drop Ball Mount Kit - 7,500 lbs # EBMK4 which will give you the 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch hitch ball options.
