Location of 12V Auxiliary Power Circuit on 7-way Trailer Connector
Question:
Thank you for your answer regarding my 2009 F150 and if I have a 7 pin connector with a 12v active pin it will work. Yes I do, which pin is the 12v pin?

In 7-way wiring the 12V auxiliary power feed is carried on the contact at the 1:00 position as you look at the socket. Please refer to the linked photo to see this. You can test to confirm power is available at this circuit contact by using a voltmeter like # PT89ZR or a circuit tester like # PTW2992.
